This place is amazing, cozy ambience and great staff. I got the chicken Marsala for dinner, I was expecting an average serving of mediocre chicken, mashed potatoes and veggies, but it was SO much better than that. Honestly might be the best Marsala I've had. Staff was super friendly and I think the chef was new but he was great. Highly recommend!!

When we arrived, we originally started to park on the street but didn't have coins and didn't want to risk a credit card skimmer so we looked around and realized there was a lot directly behind the restaurant. Since we arrived at 8 am, there were lots of open stalls and they were free. But... there were a couple homeless folks walking the lot with their blankets. Felt a bit uncomfortable but everyone has to live somewhere. On to the good stuff. The restaurant is very jazzy (as the name implies). The interior is composed of dark wood and black leather with beautiful chandeliers. We were given a very spacious booth with a beautiful view of the park. The music is so beautiful as we both love jazz. There is a large bar for those who enjoy some liquid sunshine but I was here to try their lattes and ordered a lavender latte while my husband had his usual black coffee which was a bit nutty and very smooth! My latte was so welcoming both in visual effects and taste! The design lasted almost the entire drink which I thought was pretty cool. Sign of a great barista? I had the Melissa's hash and it was so yummy! Sweet potatoes, Brussels spouts, poached egg and more. This is a must try! Hubby had the chicken waffle which was what he expected and wanted. Ok... gotta eat so that's it for now.

The food was great . Service was great . Vibes was a cute almost like date kind of vibes . I am only giving a 4 start because the portion was pretty small .

We came the weekend of the Olympic trials, so they had a limited menu along with a buffet. The buffet was very pork centric, so we ate from the menu. I got breakfast enchiladas and hubs got chicken fried steak. Pretty good.

I had a fantastic brunch experience today. The food is always top-notch, and today was no exception. The staff were quick to seat me and checked in the perfect amount, making sure everything was just right. I ordered a salted caramel chai latte, and I really appreciated that they let me know it might be too sweet due to the way they make their chai. This attention to detail and consideration for the customer's preferences really stood out to me. Overall, a great place with excellent food and attentive service. Highly recommended!

When we first walked in all the tables were covered with the remnants of a Tea. Only a few tables were actually occupied. There didn't seem to be any rush to clear any tables off, so we waited. One of the other things that struck me right away was the abundance of cameras all over the place, just a tad intimidating to be watched while you're dining. The dark and sultry atmosphere combined with the overhead music reminds me of a dark smoky blues club. I half expected Humphrey Bogart to come in with a trench coat and Stetson to 'meet a jilted blonde dame' at the bar like in the old B&W PI dramas. The dinner menu was a bit more limited than I expected, but fortunately I was able to find something that intrigued me. The Diablo Shrimp pasta was outstanding. It had a little spicy kick to it and all in all had one of those mysterious flavors I had a hard time identifying. The shrimp was cooked perfectly. The sauce was creamy and along with the pasta there was onions and peppers. The sauce has a slightly reddish tint and that mysterious flavor kept eluding me, like what is that, a single drop of lime perhaps? A minor dash of lemon seasoning? The Maitre d' came around to check on us and I asked about the recipe. He said this particular dish was a creation of the owner but could ask if they were willing to share the recipe. I said never mind, I'll just have to come back. For dessert there was the Hummingbird cake. It has pineapple and banana but those flavors were light and not overbearing. The hummingbird cake is similar in texture to a carrot cake. It was very light and refreshing.
